Happy international womens day. there is so much I could say about the terrible a lack of rights for women and the violence against us and substacks lack of protection for us, but instead today I am choosing to share the female characters who had a MASSIVE impact on me as a child. because I don’t think words would be sufficient enough, and we deserve to spend the day celebrating each other.

Princess Leia was my icon, and I still want to be her. I have always wanted Daphnes confidence and spunk. Though she was not my favorite of the cast as a child, Strawberry shortcake has become an icon of whimsy for me as an adult. Madeline Hatter made me feel like it was ok to be weird and eccentric.

I would LOVE to hear yours, so I’m starting a tag! emma 🐞⋆˚꩜ Emma Lou Cogan sara ✦ . ˚ tiwa ۶۟ৎMarie Rose 🥀 mai steph m. anders Erin bus stop girl Stella Lexis ✨caroline cherry annika
