🔍 The Atlanta Fed’s GDPNow model is sliding.

As of this week, it projects Q1 US growth at just 1.3 %, down from 1.6 % at the start of April and well below the 3 % pace seen earlier in the year.

Consumption and business investment are delivering smaller boosts, while residential investment barely contributes.

This deceleration raises the risk that 2026 begins on a softer footing than markets expect.
