Come behind the scenes with me as I do my songwriting session!

To those who don’t know me, I’m a disabled dream folk artist from Denmark.

I didn’t end up with a song I liked, but I’m closer to figuring out the vibe i want for this song.

I already had some snippets of lyrics from my two-minute lyric writing sessions the past few days.

I used what’s called a ‘word dump’ exercise. It’s easy on the brain.

I basically take any text (newspaper, poem, book etc) and find ONE word that stands out to me and gives me a visceral feeling. I then take another text and do the same until I have a whole lot of words. I can then start making sentences with those words.

And then I go to the piano which is what you’re seeing here.
