Jennifer Newsom, Gavin Newsom’s wife, says her kids grew up in progressive household, but due to internet her son was “confused, and asking all these questions"; she claims “alt-right socialization online” is influencing “boys,” which she finds very dangerous, adding:

"We are working on legislation to hold tech companies accountable and help them be a force for good in our kids and family's lives, to really provide all the best ... resources and support for you, so they don't go down this rabbit hole of very, very dangerous ... narratives of what it means to be a girl and what it means to be a boy … we have 3 more years, we are trying to institutionalize our values so they carry on beyond our term."
