Real dinner plan #171, power of planning ahead edition. I entered the kitchen this morning ready to say that we’d be getting takeout tonight, and it wasn’t until I’d opened the fridge that I remembered that I’d actually already planned a meal and gotten groceries for it! It’s noodle night: browned ground turkey and oyster mushrooms, a packet or two of the new Fly by Jing sesame noodles (they sent over a sample to try), plus a little broccoli. I was thinking about turning the whole thing soupy, but with weather this good, I think I’ll save the broth. Honestly, having the plan already in place feels like a gift during a busy week.
