One time when I was waiting for my train in NYC I made direct eye contact with that actor that played Ferris Bueller’s principal… and Lydia Deetz’s father from the Beetlejuice movie. He too was waiting on the platform, but for another subway.

I was going to college at the time and we locked in. We both couldn’t stop staring.

It was totally him. His face looking at me is forever imprinted. He didn’t smile, but instead had that same defeated look when Ferris played him in the end.

Why is this in my head?
