Surah Baqarah first begins, back with addressing Bani Israel and their history, the places where they fell short and made mistakes; for the new Muslim community to deeply understand and realize where to look on closely, and not to become entrapped in the same pitfall.

Its interesting how Imam Farahi (d.1930), (my favorite Indian Scholar) realized this approach and model of the Qur'anic narrative, hence He began his Surah Fatihah’s tafsir, even his Basmalah’s Tafsir with a far different style. He followed suit in the Quran’s blueprint and that was: Looking into the Israelites history and the Biblical narratives, the places where they lost their way and how this new community of Muslims, lead by the Final Prophet ﷺ, are blessed to be the nation of Allah's final words, they have now what the Jews and Christians have lost: the Name of Allah himself, the two special names ‘Al Rahman & Al Raheem’ and the sheer beauty, comprehensivity and humility of Surah Fatihah comparatively analyzed with Jesus's Duaa of Guidance, the understanding of the gifts of this Ummah and the merciful Shariah of this nation.

Thus, as if Farahi breathed the methodology and route to look at the Qur'an, merging the History of past nations which is key to understand the point in Human timeline where we all stand as a new Muslim community being bestowed the last words of Allah.

This is how the Nazm of the Qur'an also opens up shining bright. We can easily understand the close correlation and meaning of Surah Fatihah tied to the entire Qur'an as well as Basmalah, Fatihah and Surah Baqarah’s sequence and structure being placed one after the other.

I just can't wait see what's next and how beautifully the entirety of Allah's words is organized in perfect coherence. I ask Allah Ta'ala for toufeeq and acceptance, Aameen.
