Some Unpleasant Arithmetic

Something quite obvious is that every American state does it - Deloitte spent 5 times more on administrative costs (aka money for Deloitte) than on actual services when imposing means tests on Georgia healthcare programs. Yet nobody is saying that the people who work at Deloitte are incapable of belonging in a civilized society because of their ancient tribal background

This outsourcing approach to welfare policy is inherently vulnerable to fraud. The way these outsourcing programs work is that the government gives money to a private entity, and then that private entity is required to use it to provide services to individuals. Any money not spent on the services is kept as profit.
