I find the posts from second-degree connections very sticky-outy and I think it might be because Notes from most male writers are just SO fucking annoying. They all post these rather breathless mundane epiphanies or self-congratulatory humblebrags written in the most grating way possible, presumably for shareability or algorithm stickiness. If I wanted shower thoughts positioned as pearls of wisdom I’d be on LinkedIn.
