I love this! As someone who lives in the mountains I can say there’s a lot of beauty here. But just like a city can be a lonely place so are the mountains. When I was in college it was much easier for me to see God in the mountains, but as I matured I began to see God more in cities and local neighborhoods because they are rooted in relationships and beauty.
I think you made some great points here that scripture doesn’t require us to move from the “chaos” or crowds so to speak to see God’s glory. Jesus goes towards the crowds and practices retreat. I think that’s a much more holistic view of living and perception.
