When I tell people that AIs lean left, leftists get upset. And they are correct. If you are a true leftist, the whole “progressive on social issues and conservative on economic issues” that is the core of modern thought doesn’t compute as left. And yet opting left on just about every issue save for the role of government on corporate governance still means “leaning left” almost everywhere, almost always. It would be more precise to say that AIs lean “globalist” but, to the best of my knowledge, normies still identify users of that perfectly useful word as conspiracy theorists and cranks. So, yes, AIs lean left. Or globalist. Whatever you like.
