Onfim was a 7-year-old boy from 13th century Novgorod. He left his notes and homework exercises scratched in soft birch bark, preserved in the clay soil of Novgorod and found in a 1951 excavation.

These drawings by this Russian kid are the oldest set drawings of a child recovered anywhere in the world.
