As we come to the close of this year, we want to take a quiet moment to reflect on what this season has meant to us at Marsh Tacky Retirement Foundation.
We are a small group of volunteers, showing up day by day and moment by moment—doing the best we can with what we have, when we have it. And honestly? We feel deeply content with what we’ve been able to accomplish.
This year, we’ve helped horses in need through advocacy, transportation, support behind the scenes, and simply being willing to say yes when someone reached out for help. Some of the work was visible, some of it was quiet, but all of it mattered. Every conversation, every mile traveled, every problem solved—those things add up.
We’re proud of the care we’ve given, the connections we’ve made, and the trust that’s been placed in us. We didn’t do everything. But we did something. And we did it with love.
As we step into the new year—the Year of the Fire Horse—we’re carrying that momentum forward. With hope. With intention. And with a continued commitment to helping Marsh Tackies who need a soft place to land.
If you’ve followed along, supported us, shared our posts, donated, or simply believed in this work—thank you. We hope you’ll keep walking with us into the next year and help us continue this good, meaningful work for horses in need. 🐎🔥
