30 euros for a cup of coffee? What?! I drank this Romanée-Conti among coffees this weekend in Paris. Not in a fancy hotel, but at one of the city's best baristas. He told me that two coffee shops are currently opening per week in Paris. Two! Per week!

Result: the trends are tumbling over each other. In an attempt to keep up with all the developments, I drank more coffee than ever in recent weeks. From coffee with homemade water (really) to coffee with freeze-concentrated milk. From layered coffee to coffee with champagne yeast. And from coffee with cheese to a complete coffee omakase.
