A bit of running for science yesterday: 60 km of foggy asphalt (strava.com/activities/1…) to see where I could push fat oxidation rates. The hardest part is always getting back on the treadmill for the measurement after the run :)
Lots of experiments these past few weeks on the interplay of diet and training duration, learning more each day
At the moment, it seems my ceiling is about 1.15 grams/minute, not so bad for someone who could barely hit 0.2 grams/minute just a year ago year ago, before shifting to periodized nutrition to improve my metabolic flexibility
The human body is truly incredible
