I suspect this post gives me far too much credit 😄
But I am genuinely touched by these words.
The photograph matters, of course, yet what I remember most from this morning is the shared experience: walking through darkness, wet grass, fog swallowing the valley, and that quiet moment when everybody suddenly realises, ‘yes… this was worth waking up for.’
