The app for independent voices

Still thinking about the fact that someone recently complained my magick was not “prescriptive” enough, because it did not offer short term solutions.

This is what happens when mental health care is made expensive, fragmented, and inaccessible, and when magick gets repackaged as “self help” so it can be sold more easily.

Magick is not therapy on the cheap. It is not life coaching with incense. It is not a vending machine for immediate relief.

If anything, this only confirms something I already knew: I will continue becoming less and less prescriptive in what I offer, not more. I am far more interested in giving people tools to think, test, endure, and transform than in feeding the fantasy that every serious inner problem should come with a quick occult fix.
