Stephanie, such a neat coincidence that you have written about the Canal du Midi. Shortly after my husband, youngest daughter, her husband, and I returned from our wonderful trip to Provence, I saw an article in the NY Times about bicycling the Canal du Midi. We are making plans to cycle from Toulouse to Sete next year in early May. Rebecca and Jack will be on rented regular bikes. I'll have a rented e-bike. My husband will be our support, carrying our gear from overnight town to overnight town. I found a terrific guidebook full of helpful info and tips.
