YES. I have a friend whose son has gender dysphoria. I convinced her to have him evaluated for autism, which she did. He was diagnosed, and I thought that would solve the matter of the trans thing for her and him. It didn’t. She was already sucked into it, and let him transition, despite the autism diagnosis. I am so completely gobsmacked about this whole thing.
