Even if they don’t pass the SAVE ACT, the administration will do everything possible over the next few months to try to suppress the vote.

The most important thing we can do right now is help each other register to vote. They will try to cancel our registrations over the slightest technicality. Realize this and be prepared. You need every single document necessary, from birth certificate to photo IDs. You need to cross every t and dot every i. There are people out there right now putting a lot of work into nullifying your vote. Put the same amount of work into protecting it.

For some people this will be more than a pain in the ass, it will be an administrative nightmare. That’s why we need to form groups that help people register to vote who are having a hard time. Particularly in rural neighborhoods, among older populations and so forth.

It’s hard to believe this is happening; it’s like the South in the 1950s and 60s all over again. SCOTUS gutting the Voting Rights Act opened the gates to hell. We need to close them.
