America is falling apart at the seams, and there’s no point denying that. But the deeper reality of who we are cannot be destroyed, because the essence of any nation is spiritual not just material.

This frightening and humbling moment is making many millions of Americans go deep inside ourselves, many for the first time in our lives, to ask important questions we’ve allowed to simply fall by the wayside for decades.

If we do this work, we will get through this and be a better nation in the long run. It won’t be easy, and it will take years to get us back on track, but it can be a time of a magnificent rebuild if we allow it to. Death and rebirth are patterns in all of life, including the life of nations.
