I once created Wrestle Threads in 2024…made it to 3 issues due to lack of motivation, upkeep, and barely an engagement.

And yes, I'm admitting that I was a little “rage bait” in my assessments within issue 2 and 3 - which ever one talks about Zack Sabre Jr.

I'm not sure if I want to bring this back but the format was inspired by the age old Happy Hours Substack used to hold.

As much as I love Substack, getting engagement for wrestling content is like pulling teeth and I have an unhealthy obsession with my analytics. The engagement I get is someone from the UK being angry with me that I didn't talk about New Japan Pro Wrestling the WAY they FELT I should talk about it.

Now, what do you think? Let me know if you check it out. I know giving this preview may skew your perception, but I wear my hear on my sleeve and all I try to do is build a community. People read and open the emails, but to get at least a like or restack or say something…back then and even now it's difficult. 🤷
