I’m a college professor and there are days when I’m lecturing hundreds of students across 4 classes. I know going into it, it’s going to be an “on” all day.
I start my day by walking my kids to school…which takes approximately 3 times longer than driving them.
This seems counterintuitive on a 10 hour work day.
But I do it for exactly that reason. If I act like a time miser, I start to freak out that TIME IS RUNNING OUT and TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE and TIME IS MONEY.
That's no way to live.
Slow down and walk.
