Right now, the journey is clunky.
We prompt, we get an answer, then we still have to jump into a streamer (or else), search again and hope what we're looking for is actually there.
That friction is temporary.
My bet for 2026: the prompt-to-play path gets dramatically shorter.
Because LLMs are becoming the search engine and are now working to become the app store too.
So the next evolution is obvious:
Prompt → answer → deep link → instant play (or instant subscribe/buy).
When that happens, “distribution” becomes more about winning the recommendation layer, less about winning the home screen.
That’s why designing a GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) strategy matters now.Not for vanity.
