EXPERIENCING COMMUNITY THROUGH FILM
Last weekend at the Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival, I witnessed how stories take shape—how a moment, an idea, or a conversation can grow into years of work driven by patience, collaboration, and curiosity. Through every film, I felt inspired, educated, and uplifted. But more than anything, the festival reminded me of the power of community.
One takeaway stayed with me: impact isn’t just about creating content—it’s about delivering stories to the people and places where they inspire action and encourage meaningful change. The filmmakers I encountered showed me that real progress takes time, and some stories need space to become what they are meant to be.
Inspired by this experience, I’m taking my work in a new direction—writing to explore the future of communities in the digital age and searching for innovations to place them at the center of our human experience.
I invite you to join me on this journey—your insights and experiences are essential as we search for better ways to work together to build meaningful connections in the digital age.
