If we are to have a ghost of a chance of restoring our relationships with our allies, especially if this asshole pulls out of NATO, we must prosecute him and everybody around him immediately after they leave office.

Unless there is accountability, we have no hope of restoring ties with allies who will have a hard time trusting us again. And even then it will be very difficult. That is the extent of the damage he has done during the course of his regime.
