The cost of seeing a different horizon and walking towards it is never obvious. You change with the decision to go toward it. You change along the way. You think you can control it. You can't. Steer, yes, but hitting the exact point you chose to cross that horizon ... doubtful. A lighthouse might help but chaos rules.
