There was a time when someone displaying this level of open racism would go out of their way to conceal it, knowing they would be considered unacceptable in polite society.

I rarely agree with Piers Morgan, but I must admit he is right: it is horrifying to see a person “embrace” their racism as though it were a positive attribute.

I’ve seen it suggested that Trump isn’t the cause of the country's current situation. All I know is that he is the person who made individuals like this comfortable with coming out of the closet as racists. Without Trump, I honestly believe she—and those like her—would still be relegated to the shadows where they belong.
