Life moves larger than us, like a great river.
All of us are inside it, moving through (what we perceive as) time, change, loss, growth.
Sometime we flow with it easily, and other times we resist with everything they have.
And sometimes resistance is necessary, because it build character, it prevents surrender where surrender would become passivity. But even then, we are still within something greater than ourselves. Still being carried by forces we don’t fully control, like aging, seasons, endings, the unfolding of life itself.
There’s humility in recognizing that.
We can fight the current endlessly, exhausting yourself trying to dominate every part of reality, or we can learn when to swim, when to steer, and when to stop treating the river like an enemy.
I know, it's easier said than done...
Wisdom isn’t always about overpowering life. Sometimes it’s about understanding
how to move within it without losing yourself in the struggle.
