Because of this essay, I just booked a flight for a single, Christian young woman to come and spend a month with me and my family in Ireland. She’s a writer, like me—we first met through a writing conference—and we plan to spend the month talking about writing, sharing ideas, travelling Ireland for inspiration, and taking turns using my gorgeous little writing cabin the back garden while she helps with my kids.
