We don't do much fundraising (it's cringe) but once a year, we do a big one. It's that time! We've just paid our taxes, we've got big plans for the next year, and we need your help.

The plans we're cooking up would be a big change in the kind of coverage we can offer. But we need help to pull it off! We don't take government subsidies or bailouts — and we've stuck to that consistently, even as other outlets caved and took the loot.
