I feel like it matters whether the change is for the better or for the worse.

For example, I was doing fine under the pre-Trump status quo. But if his tax proposals pass, I’ll be doing even better — good for me!

But I know some people who were really struggling under the pre-Trump status quo, some of whom voted for him for that reason, but who are going to be worse off if his Medicaid proposals pass — bad for them!
