I will be the featured respondent in a Q&A following the screening of the important documentary BAD FAITH: Christian Nationalism‘s Unholy War on Democracy. March 8, 2-4 pm, Carmel, IN. You are cordially invited.

Details and Registration:

We invite you to an important community screening and conversation about the growing influence of Christian Nationalism in the United States. On Sunday, March 8, from 2-4 p.m. at the Carmel Clay Public Library (425 E. Main St, Carmel, IN) we will screen the 2024 documentary BAD FAITH, a searing examination of how extremist religious ideology has entered our political system - and the harm it causes to democracy and marginalized communities.

After the film we will host a 30-minute post-film Q&A session led by Dr. Matthias Beier, an associate professor at Christian Theological Seminary.

Dr. Beier is an internationally recognized expert and speaker on assessing the difference between harmful and healthy forms of religion and on fostering a spirituality of love and peace. He debated Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith in an IndyStar series on Christian Nationalism to counter the harmful misuse of religion by the government.
