I don’t want to write a book for the sake of becoming a New York Times bestselling author.
I want a life where I can spend three hours in the morning revising one paragraph without wondering if it’s a waste.
So I can close my laptop at noon, walk to the library, and read fifty pages just because the book deserves it.
So I can turn down projects that want speed over substance.
That’s my version of a successful life.
One where I have time to think clearly, time to read deeply, and time to write without compromise.
