I think the mass deportation signs are this election's "build the wall". The wall was not built and certainly what was built was not paid for by Mexico. And people didn't hold it against the candidate in the 2020 campaign or this one. Same with "lock her up" though on that one I suspect Jeff Sessions put a stop to any attempt to do that.
