2-minute video that perfectly captures the gulf between elite groupthink and reason.
This woman is the embodiment of the corrupt, neo-racist, cultish dogma pumped out of universities for decades. The liberal press, politicians and midwit activists picked it up, and its central claims were treated as virtually unquestionable. Yet they collapse under even the lightest scrutiny.
The young guy is the opposite. He’s looked at the facts, and drawn rational conclusions free from ideology.
Her rebuttals, her expressions, her whole mode of being are phoney. They are a performance propped up by the way discourse itself has been warped by her ideology, and by the enforcement of speech codes that shield it from challenge.
I really see parallels between the way people like her act and speak, and the videos of North Koreans ululating and fake-crying when their leaders die. Language, actions, behaviours etc that are cultivated specifically in order to signal ideological purity. And the power that that ideological conformity confers is used to intimidate those who might disagree with its enforcers into silence. ‘Do not cut me off’, ‘educate yourself’, ‘do better’ - we all know what these phrases mean. They mean ‘I hold the correct opinions, and you better not challenge me or else…’
The good news is that pushback against this braindead dross is growing. The bad news is that in elite and liberal circles, it still survives. It might come back in a slightly modified form but it’s still there, trust me.
A new religion.
Check out my essay ‘statistics vs the racial grievance grift’, it’s a mega-debunking of the whole thing and went quite viral. It’s free to read on my newsletter page. Have linked it in the comments below this note too.
