People who spent years doing this in Britain, and across the West, after one man in another country died during an arrest, and who tried to get anyone who pointed out the massive, blatant flaws in their ‘systemic racism’ narrative fired and no-platformed, are now insisting we must not ‘politicise’ the death of Henry Nowak. That’s if they’re saying anything at all about his brutal murder (and the police response), which they have studiously avoided doing, along with much of the media and political class.

FWIW, I actually agree to some extent that we should avoid falling into an inverse version of the BLM trap, geared towards whipping up mob outrage around a single event. Clips on social media shouldn’t be used to tar the entire Sikh community, and some hard-right figures will inevitably try to use this to push slightly iffy narratives of their own.

But the point here is the unbelievable, yet entirely predictable, hypocrisy and double standards. The entire British establishment went into performative meltdown over George Floyd. People had their lives destroyed for questioning the racial grievance narrative. Employees were forced to recite cultish woke mantras based on statistical falsehoods for years afterwards. And on and on.

Yet when a very similar incident occurs here in Britain, one that exposes that dogma as divisive bollocks, or leads to conclusions that run counter to identitarian leftist claims, they either ignore it completely or criticise those who don’t.

Utterly shameless. Also just very thick. RIP Henry.
