Man in London sees someone holding a sign calling Hamas terrorists. In response, he shouts ‘Freedom fighters! They’ll finish you all off!’ Ie, I hope Hamas will kill you all, like they killed every Jew and Israeli they could find on Oct 7 (apart from the ones they raped or kidnapped).

Criticise Hamas vocally at any of these ‘pro-Palestine peace marches’ and you’re more than likely to be met with this sort of abuse. There are countless similar videos, from almost every rally.

Yet suggest that the ‘pro-Palestine’ movement is cut through with Islamists, Islamist apologists, and general terror-supporting nutcases and they’ll have a hissy fit and scream racism. Which is it?

Ofc not all criticism of Israel boils down to that - I myself have been and am deeply concerned about much of what Israel does. But come on…if you can’t see how dodgy this is I don’t know what to say to you at this point.

And what of the man with the sign criticising Hamas? Reports suggest (as yet unconfirmed, I want to emphasise) that it ended with him being escorted away by police (again - it’s happened to him repeatedly). After all, we can’t have him ‘inflaming community tensions’ by accurately describing a proscribed terror group who just carried out the worst racist pogrom in generations. It’s bad enough that any part of any community in the UK (or anywhere) gets ‘inflamed’ by criticism of jihadist mass murderers, to think the police are intervening to stop them feeling upset by hurty words about those jihadis is beyond belief.

Mad times.
