The so-called “Environmental Protection Agency” or EPA announced its plans to stop polluters from reporting their greenhouse gas emissions.

Reporting is how we know who’s killing us.

It’s how we know which refinery, which power plant, which profit-choked industry is torching the sky over our heads and acidifying the oceans under our feet. FFS, this isn’t a “regulatory burden.” It’s evidence of a crime.

But those in power don’t want evidence. They want silence. They don’t want to protect the Earth. They want to protect the killers. The forests burn, the rivers warm, the ice collapses and the response is to hide the numbers.

We are in a war for survival and they are choosing the side of extinction.

Ask the salmon choking in too-warm streams. Ask the children with lungs full of refinery soot. Ask the soil, ask the sky.

They’re taking away the records so we can’t see the murder. Because they plan to keep murdering.
