I see a man, a 37 year old VA system nurse, a colleague really, documenting ICE activity, who then reaches to help a woman who was shoved to the ground by ICE. As the nurse tries to protect the woman from being assaulted he is pepper sprayed, pulled down, gang beaten, and then shot multiple times with a gun, brutally killed, as another ICE agent claps.

In a NYT Quinnipiac poll released 1/13/2026 - among Republicans, 84% approve of how ICE is enforcing immigration laws. In contrast, 94% of Democrats said they disapprove of the agency’s enforcement approach.

How could anyone approve of this? Complicity is just as evil as everything we are seeing, feeling, and suffering as Americans. Perhaps more.
