Sorry, Dr. Paul, but you still fail to include Trump in this. He was at the helm. He was responsible for letting all of that happen. THE BUCK STOPPED WITH HIM!!!! You need to stop making excuses for him. We, as everyday people, were able to see the problems, so if Trump couldn’t see what was right under his nose, then he’s just not the man for the job. For me, he’s either really that stupid, or else he’s in on it. You can make all the excuses you want for him, but it doesn’t change of that.

Let’s put this into perspective. You are a doctor, so this is in your wheelhouse. You have a team of surgeons. They need to do a complex procedure that requires a team to do. The surgeon in charge has to answer for everything that his team does. They do the complex procedure, and some of the other surgeons on the team do things the wrong way, and the patient ends up dying. The surgeon in charge was accountable. He hired all of his team members. He oversaw the procedure, and was ultimately responsible for everything they did. So should he face consequences for his failing? In my opinion, yes he should. He was responsible for vetting the team members. He was responsible for making sure they were qualified to do such a complex procedure. He was responsible for keeping an eye on them while they were doing the procedure. He failed.

Now look at Trump. He was the President. He was faced with a complex situation. He was responsible for the team he put in place to respond to that complex situation. He was responsible to make sure those people were qualified to work on such a response. During that response, many situations were questioned my many other professionals who were not on that team. Trump should have been attentive enough to pick up on the concerns of those other doctors, and should have listened to them and addressed their concerns, purely out of caution and thoroughness, but he didn’t. Trump also put Mike Pence, who has absolutely no medical qualifications at all in charge of a team to handle a MEDICAL, and very complex situation. Was that someone being responsible for putting qualified people on that team? NO, it was not. If I was to go for a complex surgical procedure, I would want a SURGEON leading that team, NOT a politician. Trump should have looked into the background of all the individuals involved before he put them on the team. Did he do that? NO, he did not. If he had, he would have learned that Dr. Fauci was totally unqualified for that job. He would have found his total conflict of interest with all his ownership of his patents. He would have learned that Fauci was trying to make these types of vaccines going all the way back to AIDS in the 80s, and that they were not successful. He would have learned how Fauci made some grievous errors in the way he handled the AIDS epidemic. He would have learned that Fauci was considered to be incompetent by many of his peers. He would have realized that Fauci was the LAST person who should have been placed in that position he was in.

How about this? After Fauci and Birx presented those “models” that were proven to be totally false in their predictions of deaths from covid, why did Trump let him continue? Why didn’t Trump look into who made those “models”. He would have learned that the man responsible was a total fraud, who did many such grievous errors before, and again was the LAST person whose work anyone should have relied on in such a complex situation. Fauci and Birx never apologized for getting that wrong. They just kept going as if nothing happened, and totally kept flip flopping on every damn thing they said. That was HUGE red flag, yet Trump did not see it, or if he did, he didn’t have the guts to put a STOP TO IT!!!

Believe me, a COMPETENT leader DOES do all these things. He makes sure things are checked, and triple checked, because the buck stops with HIM. However, Trump is also a fraud. He doesn’t have the mental capacity to do this level of leadership. And believe me, it showed BIG TIME!!! Ask Dr. Atlas. He brought a team of 4 or 5 experts to meet with Trump, who ALL had grave concerns about what Fauci was doing, and yet, TRUMP WOULDN’T EVEN MEET WITH THEM!!!!! What kind of crap is that???? Sorry, but Trump FAILED, because Trump is just plain INCOMPETENT!! He was in over his head, and STILL WOULD BE NOW!!! I can NOT vote for him, knowing what I know, and I’m honestly quite seriously confused about why you keep defending him. So, as some others here suspect, are you looking for a job and don’t want to get on anyone’s bad side? Are you compromised? Is that why you won’t criticize ANY of them? Because, quite honestly, your statements here just don’t make sense. They don’t line up with the strong positions you took against the entire covid thing when it was happening. So which is it, Dr. Paul? Are you looking for a job? Are you compromised? That’s the only way your current statements could make any sense.
