Michael, thank you for your words of wisdom in these posts, it’s obvious that much of what you have learned and gleaned has been from your diligent study of the Word, written, experiential and relationally. Where identity isn’t found in the gift, rather in the giver. I appreciate you challenging not only those with prophetic gifting and callings, but also the BOC; who have been desperate for prophetic words, often born out of lack of intimacy with the One who speaks. Having fallen myself to the same desperation at times, I am so grateful for His gentle and loving correction. As I am learning to submit within the community, whatever that community is, reflects my submission to Him. It’s also such a great place, where it’s not always handled as He would, but He uses it to reveal where my (our) identity is found. Thank you sir!
