Chris writes a good piece that articulates a few of my old lady thoughts on why the whole “albums are dead” discourse is kind of silly:

1) Yeah streaming is killing sales but people are still listening to full albums and going to concerts based on love of full albums, and, conversely,

2) Just because people used to have to buy full albums just to hear one song doesn't mean they sat through the whole album to hear that one song. We always found ways.
