I once worked at a call center where we did tech support for Verizon.

This was back in… 2006? Or thereabouts.

We were penalized if our calls went past 2 minutes. Even our bathroom breaks were timed. There was a big screen TV with employee leader boards for who was closing calls fastest.

Worst job I've ever had.
