Happy New Year!!

It’s that time of year where I set myself up intentionally for the year. I’ve been doing this for as long as I can remember. For the last eight years I’ve represented my intentions visually so I can live a more intentional life. I started doing to support myself as a visual learner. I begin with deciding the best way to represent each intention and draw the icons. The information I collect grows each year.

Colouring in each night hits the right spot for me and encourages me to keep going. I also use it to track my migraines (that image with all the boxes) and use this to monitor changes. Last year I decided to do a tiny drawing to capture each day along with a few sentences. I don’t use this diary for my daily tasks, instead I have been using a notebook. This year I have a week to a page diary for this.

Last year my migraines dropped a bit (with a few hiccups), I read less (don’t read as much when I’m travelling) and spent more time with friends along with a bunch of other cup filling things.

This year I’m excited about what’s in store for me and for what I’m providing my clients. It’s going to be a wonderful year!

How do you set your intentions? How do you track things?

If you need some help with this, I have a reflections and planning workbook in my shop you can grab: megdunley.com/product/d…. It’s only $1.95 until the end of January. It’s how I set myself up each year to make sure I’m learning about myself and setting myself up for a joyful and fulfilling life.

The diaries are Moleskine Pocket. A handy size for this. I’m a @moleskine girl and have been for many years.
