Lately I’ve been revisiting how my art seems to resonate with people in healthcare fields.
Whether it’s an original painting for their home or work for their office space, there’s something about these connections that feel right. Like the art belongs there.
When I trace my own background back to studying psychology and working in clinical research, it’s interesting to see how being attuned to emotion has found its way into my profession in a different form.
I’ve always been keenly aware of how people and spaces feel. And I think about that sometimes when I consider my artwork. How it might exist in places where people are moving through something difficult. Just being there with them, as part of the space.
That sense of creating a calm place to land is still part of what I do, even if it looks different now.
