A violent, emotionally unregulated man imprisons a woman, rages, threatens, and behaves in abusive ways..& she fawns on her inner safety and buckles down to be patient, kind, and loving until he softens. Oh the message is clear ……men do not need to take responsibility for their inner world. Women should endure it. If she is loving enough, if she waits long enough, he will eventually change.
