A film that produced one of the greatest soundtracks ever. It instantly takes me back to summers in the garden during my childhood—my parents had it on repeat every single year without fail.

This scene where Forrest and Bubba fly into camp in the legendary Huey helicopter, with “Fortunate Son” by CCR blasting, has to be one of the coolest moments ever put to film.

Although… I’ve learned to be careful driving when that song comes on, very easy to end up with a speeding ticket!
