Ok, I’m in the mood for a bit of the blues and I remembered this incredible version of ‘The Sky Is Crying’ by Gary B.B. Coleman.
Originally recorded by Elmore James in the late ’50s and covered by many artists like Albert King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and so on. I’ve heard them all, but for me this version is my favourite and is absolutely perfect for a Sunday afternoon whilst I cook a lamb roast dinner with a glass of vino.
