This album takes me back to my teens. A mate of mine was house sitting for a few weeks, so naturally I went to “help” and ended up moving in too. We spent those days smoking a lot and playing The Doors on repeat.

I first heard “The End” in the opening scene of Apocalypse Now — music and imagery perfectly combined, and it’s stayed with me ever since.
